Shelley Bowen is the Chief Creative Officer for Bowen & Bowen, Ltd. She also heads Sakkisime & Co., B&B's in-house marketing agency, where she oversees creative strategy for B&B brands.
Shelley joined B&B in 2010 as Marketing Director for B&B Beverages. She comes from a twenty-year career in journalism, including stints at National Geographic Magazine and the Miami Herald (where she was part of a Pulitzer Prize-winning team for its coverage of Hurricane Andrew), and did extensive freelance work while raising her two sons.
A proud eighth-generation Belizean, she holds a master's degree in journalism and visual communication from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, an executive master's in marketing from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University, and a bachelors in anthropology from Duke University.
