Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee to return in 2023

The Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee, held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and supported by The Coca-Cola Company, will return in 2023 and promises to be as exciting as ever.

For over twenty years, the Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee has given students country-wide an equal opportunity to shine. This academic contest promotes education, builds self-confidence, and provides an opportunity for students to engage in healthy and fun competition.

The Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee was put on pause in 2020 to comply with government guidelines and help protect the health of everyone involved. However, with schools returning to normalcy, the decision has been made to prepare for a 2023 return. Planning for next year’s Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee has already commenced. Everyone can look forward to a fun and dynamic contest, highlighting the best of Belize’s young spellers.
