Blair Athol Power Company Ltd

Initially, part of Belize Aquaculture Limited, Blair Athol Power Company (“BAPCoL”) was spun out as a separate legal entity in 2010. BAPCoL consists of three Wärtsilä 18V32 engines acting as prime movers driving AVK 3-phase AC generators, each with a maximum output of 8.1 MW.

BAPCoL is an Independent Power Producer (“IPP”) supplying 21.0 MW of Firm Capacity to the National Grid and acts as a quick response to stabilize the grid with Black-Starting capabilities.
