Crystal Bottling Company
Belize's premier beverage bottling facility
Initially, a producer and seller of carbonated fruit drinks known in Belize as lemonade, Crystal Bottling Company (CBCo) was founded in 1942. In 1961 it acquired the franchise for Coca-Cola and is now a Division of Belize Beverage Company which manages the production and marketing of soft drinks and other non-alcohol beverages.
From the first production facility at 1 King Street in Belize City, CBCo has leveraged the portfolio of global soft drink brands to become the leading beverage supplier in Belize. Today, CBCo provides a range of brands satisfying Belizean consumers throughout their day; Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Powerade, Fuze, Minute Maid, and Full Throttle are among these international brands.
Over thirty years ago, CBCo took its founding name and applied it to a bottled water brand, and Crystal Water was born. Utilizing the same quality credentials of the company’s global brands, and adding an eleven-step purification system that includes double reverse-osmosis, Crystal Water is ultra-purified, great-tasting water. It is this commitment to excellence that has led to the certification of Crystal Water by both the British and American Armed Forces. Crystal Water is the most trusted bottled water in Belize.
CBCo also produces and distributes the other local brands, Juce and Ideal; both offer fruit drinks with a variety of flavors.
In 2016, the inauguration of the state-of-the-art bottling facility named the John Armstrong Memorial Building provided CBCo with additional capacity to supply all types of carbonated soft drinks, non-carbonated flavored drinks, juices, and water to Belize and other export markets.
